Nation

Whoa, hope that Frank is okay. That was some weird incident that occurred yesterday. Speaking of weird incidents, some of them of varying degrees having happening all weekend, such as running into a group of church people at lunch today and at two different times after fellowship. Speaking of fellowship, I wonder how this "unofficial jam session" program idea is going to work out with the JOY people.

Hmmm...at this current rate, I should be able to reach 70 near the beginning of July, and then I can start on the "real" game, haha. That should be interesting, but then I'll have to see on what Hawkins throws at me as well.

I wonder how long songs like, "In the Secret" will stay funny for. :P

Anyways, this ends a super random post.

Last Stand

So, as I sit here writing this post, I regret having gotten beasted on my bed yesterday and thus waking up late today. I've got a lot of stuff to do, some of them that I have to do, others that I guess I just want to do, but feel as I should do. (Sort of like writing an email to an old friend I haven't talked to in a while, just to find out how he's doing.) Fellowshp tonight is going to include a planning meeting for the next month, so most likely after tonight, I'll have more things on my "to do" list. At the same time, some comrades of mine will probably just have started watching 300. And also, over in Waterloo, Lifesong should be just about ending. Now, if it weren't for the fact that it was actually based on a historical event, I wouldn't really be that interested in seeing it, since it just seems full of a lot of pointless violence and gore. I wonder how much of it would actually be historically accurate? The trailer was pretty good though, I'll have to admit. The cheesy but still funny lines of:

"Our arrows will blot out the sun!"
"Then we shall fight in the shade."

I thought were pretty interesting, and the last part seemed to be something I could imagine a Spartan saying. :P All in all...I'll look forward to hearing about the movie tomorrow at breakfast. I hope the usual crew of people end up going. It's one thing to see people in a virtual world, it's another to see them in person.

Now, why am I posting this instead of actually doing some of the other stuff I mentioned above? Well...part of the reason would be feeling tired and lack of motivation...hmm...now I think this is a familiar situation. :P

Liberate

Well then...it's official now I guess. Since I've decided to basically quit Magic after 10th edition and before Lorwyn block, I guess I should begin to gradually do less and less Magic related stuff. I'll start with reading less Magic on the web, and only really reading the main site on Mondays, Tuesday, and Fridays. Those are where the most interesting articles for me are, anyways. I think I also can stop using my "theme" for blog post titles now, since it'll probably be annoying if I try to keep it up. :P

Been playing Magic mostly for almost 12 years now. It's still fun, but a change probably is in order. Too bad it's only know that the really good sets are coming out. :P

In other news, the search for a full-time job has stalled. I am, however, enjoying my part-time Top Class tutoring job and other volunteering stuff from church and etc.
